Are dark, gloomy skies the new trend these days? We're seeing dark clouds almost everywhere in the ads here. Is there any real reason why one would put such atmosphere onto an ad for a toy truck? Last time I checked, toys were supposed to be about fun, and certainly the core concept here is indeed fun. So why make it look so dank and depressing? Are we supposed to feel sorry for the big truck somehow?

Sorry, too many conflicting messages for this to really work.

idea is good. All said & done, advtg. is all about Exaggeration. but i do agree that the gloomy sky is "not happening"

overpromise, too forced.
not everyone, but many consumers maybe see this and think: "what a such lie!! they think i am dumb?"
