Jeep: Greatness, 3

Greatness comes from a well-crafted lineage. Here's ours.
Sometimes the pursuit of greatness starts with the ones who come before us. So to our legendary history we've added a bit of opulence. Ingenuity meets craftsmanship to create new American style. Introducing luxury for all terrain, the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Greatness isn't just built, it's earned.

It's something new but I don't like it. Probably has something to do with the agency spending less time translating this ad then making it in the original language.

I understand the strategy, but this just makes Jeep look old and boring instead of classic and fun.

hehehe Keynes, I like your comment more than this ad. So waht's the deal with the 3-ad campaign.. Just changing the photographs? And aren't there better ways to capitalize on lineage

Nice use of Ashland carved panel molding. Would have liked to see a little more egg and dart here.

Serious lack of communicating the new attributes of the 2011 model.

I understand the strategy but I don't think this hit home with the primary Jeep GC audience.

I'm not seeing any opulence married with any all terrain capabilities.

I'm not really feeling the fact that the vehicle reminds me of something... I don't know what it reminds me of? Not sure what benefit it is too consumers to see a portrait of some random woman in a black and white photo. I don't see nothing 'terrain' about this ad? If you are introducing this as an all terrain vehicle, then please show some terrain somewhere, at least in the background. Not feeling this one Vida=(
