This campaign is slightly interesting but nothing about them makes me want to attend even a free Jazz Festival. I think they could have done a much better job by creating a night out themed campaign.

You have a good line that can be widely explored and do it in three different funny ways. All right, but I don´t think the approach was so good.

I've done a Jazz festival sponsorship print campaign for a major communications company years ago.
Went down the same road exploring the same joke. But in the end we opted for "witty" rather than "funny". These guys stuck with "funny" and ended up failing miserably. I know it's kinda tricky showing "improvisation" in a single shot. It's knowing when to abort a bad concept.
And the second line is SUCH an amateur-level writing. Couldn't they have at least said "see how the pros do it" or something rather? Horrible.

Spot on. Maybe even a humorous campaign showing improvised musical instruments. At least something to give it a boost in the arm as a music festival.

This must've been such a stupid photoshoot.

Photographer: "So, what are we looking for here?"
AD: "I dunno, just let her do her own thing, I guess..."
Photographer (to girl): "All right, so the agency doesn't know what the fuck they want. So just use your imagination. Make stuff up. Aaaaaand, GO!"

Damn dude, having a bad week?

Did the other kids steal your lunch money a lot when you were little?

Ahhhhh, a newcomer! And your very first post!!
Well, you're making me blush.. I'm terribly flattered that you just HAD TO introduce yourself to me this way. How polite of you. Your mama sure raised you well!
You know, I would LOVE to tell you all about my childhood, but you're going to have to buy me dinner first. You can do that, can't you? Or maybe lunch, since you seem to be fascinated about how I used to treat myself to a midday repast. All I'm saying is that we should get to know each other first.
So, tell me something about yourself. Oh! I see you're a "surfer" from Pennsylvania. Now that's a start...
