towels made of plastic?
Should have used body bags...
Should have digged graves in the sand ;)
It's been done by KWF Kankerbestrijding, Eduard van Bennekom & Jasper Diks. I didn't post it because it's just Photoshopped in my opinion.
It's just too bad that this ambient marketing idea isn't as clever and groundbreaking as it would like you to think it is.
clever
Amazing
w-o-w
wow!!!
one of the best ambient i've seen so far. makes me want to stay out of the sun. my grndmother has skin cancer, and this is so important for people to understand how dangerous sun exposure is.
two thumbs up guys!!!
good solid work. i think it's a great way to show people, who became indifferent nowadays to sun damages, what their actions can cause.
Blahdy bloop blah blah. Bloopity blah blah. Pthppppt!
Doin' it for the points
must of been a slow day in Tel Aviv.
Muy efectivo.
Wide media coverage? Must of been a slow day in Tel Aviv.

Interesting
I comment the comments
hmmmm
This was done before. Someone obviously copied it.
I think the line in the earlier version is better too.

Shame Gitam BBDO, Israel!
i don't think it's necessarily copied.
i have the exact same idea in my "idea"-book.
with the exact same line as the one you posted.
i didn't copy either.
it's just a matter of chance - and BIG numbers.
thousands of people in advertising are working on the same clients every day of the year: there's bound to be ideas that look the same... only because of the internet we start to notice it.

"life, the universe and advertising .com" "lutz das fischstäbchen de"
"follow me."
The line in the one done earlier is a lot better than this one on Ads of the World - this makes the Coppertone one work better.
should read "Over exposure to the sun kills". I would have read this and kept on walking and sitting in the sun...
this is lame!
not clever. not amazing. bbq grills dont kill.
super lame.
the truth campaign in the US did this back in 2000. Crispin and Arnold I believe.
what a retarded thing to say busyb. the bbq grill is there purely to illustrate that you will cook in the sun.
it's obvious that you will cook in the sun, but what about that connection to SKIN CANCER? that's what it is trying to say, but failing to do so.
Trying to be clever, but not working. Not to mention was noted it has been done before, and done better with graves dug in the sand.
Not so clear of a message, just a slew of free towels for 50 people on the beach.
fair enough. i see what you're saying just hate it on this site where people rip the sht out of an idea without thinking abit more about it.
Not so original i think...
