These are funny, I like' em. I'm just waiting for the first commenter who says: “It doesn't work, because the tower has always been leaning” (I'm imagining a really whiny voice, by the way).
No, it really doesn't work because they show a new model of printers and a print they assume to be made ages ago. Not only that is quite contradictory, it's just stupid because off course they didn't have printers back then.
It's the same idea that's being used several times for Post-its. But then it did make sense: a Post-it that stuck for several years or decades (not ages) to an object...
Yeah, I think the ad is funny but I agree it won't sell, even at first glance the art doesn't communicate “new technology”.

it's one of those ideas: lets create sth thats just not possible and let the target group think: "ahhh, its not possible and it doesnt make sense because there were no printer in former times...but its advertising and so its ok! jippiiiie!"
