I saw these before and really liked them and the no-budget, no-frills way they approach the subject but I don't understand why Hillel didn't use the creative program on campus. Jonathan Schoenberg has some talented students there.
Maybe it's obvious, but just in case... note that these are not ads in a magazine, but sheets of paper posted on campus, where they could initially be taken for actual lab volunteer sign-up sheets.

The transition from the descriptive part to the 'This experiment occured from 1942 to 1943' feels a bit clunky to me. And while I get the whole 'scientific experiments' angle, victims of the Holocaust certainly weren't volunteers, so the idea feels slightly off target.

They didn't need a creative approach. The simple truth brings emotion and support from anyone who's reading. I liked it.
