6 out of these 7 ads show horses (and great-looking horses at that).
The 7th has a dog with an expression that seems to say "God, I wish I too could look like that stud there!".
The Hermes logo features a horse as well.
Ergo, Hermes is perhaps some sort of salon for horses.
If anybody else has a better explanation for these ads, I'd be happy to hear it...

This is a Vogue kind of campaign. Its not meant to be creative by our point of view. But get transmit all that "fashion" thing. I like the pictures and that is all.
I love these ads. They drip with style and fashion. I would say it is a fashion store/business. And it shows a horse because its old logo has one and used properly (as seen here) the horse could be beautifull in a picture

actually, don't bother answering that - i'm just taking the piss... fed up of seeing all these high budget, beautifully crafted fashion ads which so lack an idea!
Sometimes there is no need for an idea. Then there is just some beautiful picture 'eye-candy' I've seen lots of those from Diesel.

I really don't get the idea or meaning of the multiple Hermes ads, i guess you have to be very rich to understand them at all.

There is actually a horse (well, its hooves) in the picture with the dog, it just doesn't stand out much.

Hermes makes leather goods, including expensive saddles for horseback riding.
hermes was originally a saddlery, and then moved on to making handbags and other fashion items. The same goes for gucci, which explains the many harse related influences in their fashion.
