MMMMMMMMMMMMM...YUMMY!nnd i say more?
Welcome to advertising 1989. We're having a blast here in the creative department: Come in at 12.30 pm, go out for a 3 hour lunch, come back, do some work about "there is so much tomato in Heinz, that its just like a real tomato", win a few awards doing it, go out, snort some coke and retire in Provence at the age of 57 and develop a red-wine problem.
Ha. Great comment. Uninspired ads.
hahahahahahahahahahahahaha briliiant ! much better then the ad itself ! right on !
eaaaaaaasy
I wish i were in the 80's
such a shame we´re not in the 80's, i would´ve been the best creative alive.... i really like how the 57 year old guy with red-wine problems sound...
I like these. Simple idea nicely executed, what more do you want?
Since you've been around for so long you must have a book full of ads better than this, right?
Let's see!
I also thought it was funny that you picked "age of 57" given this product. : )
Fumigate your fleas
Curry the tom cat.

Not a lovely ad but a lovely coment. " farfromflorida"
"Everyday is one short life"

it's true. they are plain and not so bright but they're good in their own kind of way and they deliver the message pretty good.

Agreed comment is fantastic, but are you not being overly harsh here? After all they are selling tomato sauce, yes it is packed with tomatos, what else would it be packed with. I think it is simple and effective... and the 80s rock, I wish I could have a three hour lunch break
I think these are great, especially this one. I think a lot of people posting their "critiques" are either young kids right out of school who think they know everything, or by someone who has been jaded by this wonderful business. Don't let them get to you.
Cheers.
I am not being harsh. This type of ad tells no story. Does it need to? I think it does, especially when coming from a brand like Heinz who we all know, we need to hear something new and fresh. And besides the tomatoes inside, there is nothing fresh about Heinz Ketchup. And also bearing in mind that this is coming from McCann London, then I think it is very bad, because the amount of thought that have gone into this campaign is so minimal. It doesn't have to be expensive. Just a bit more interesting for the consumer to read on such a well known product.
It's not just about tomatoes, it's about them being grown by Heinz and them knowing where their ingredients come from. That's pretty new and fresh news for a billion year old product.
I think the ads are getting a hard time, I like them. They enrich the product and the brand.
I´ve learned advertising looking at Ketchup and Vodka ads between others.
You cant get tired of them but there are so many that I would like to see something new.
love all of them
i think the line is actually very good: nobody grows ketchup like heinz.
the idea of growing ketchup (not tomatoes) is cool, and that's precisely why they could have gone further.
i agree with the comments about these being almost like "first ideas", i mean, let's transform the product in tomatoes.
these are not bad ads, but they're just ok; and maybe they could have done something really great.
Love the comment..... Not the ad. " farfromflorida"... very nice!
Beautful worms inside u
BETTER THE COMMENT THAN THE AD.
Nicely done. Kudos to all.
Don't mind this.
