hmm...good, bt somehow dumb

remember, suitable for the mediocre HBO viewer...

Cant go too clever with an TV audience

nice and easy please!

i dont know what im looking at someone help me.

i know technically they were right to use this car for this particular movie, but i think it would've been clearer and better if they'd used the good old batmobile.

I don't mind saying that I agree. The old Adam West batmobile would have been class.

Don't say a word. ;)

Dick Huges feels like a 1 year old kid looking to this ad. Because it makes me feel happy and fresh? No, because I dont understand anything it says.

o come on people! It's Batman Begins... The Batmobile got an "L" as in an instrucrion car. He is taking the drivers lessons. as in the beginning

We don't put an "L" on cars driven by learners here in North America. So it could go over a lot of people's heads here. Does it work for the target audience, though?

I think that's not quite an universal code. In my country, cars say "ENSEƑANZA" (Learning) in the front and the back with a green HUGE font. So, it is hard for someone outside Mumbai to understand. But now that I do, I like it a lot, hehe.

I knew it meant instructor's car or learner because I watch Coronation Street on occasion. I thought this ad was brilliant.
And I also agree that this car is way cooler than the ones in the post beginning movies, why did they have to use newer technology in this movie?

Ahhh, that's why they have all these L's in the windows of DDB India...

Yawn, what a sad attempt at borrowed interest.

I'm glad someone pointed out it was the Batmobile cause I thought it was some kind of gym equipment or something.

I get it from South Africa, a nice simple one off ad. No metal or paper, but cool for a simple announcement ad.

I like it.

Perhaps another one with the old car could turn this into a quality campaign.

8/10

for those of the unreflective few, the ad is perfectly understandable by an Indian (the target audience) i hope you ppl also have a rough idea that HBO has its own scheduling here. 'L' means learners and the only and only thing i would have advised is to make it more evident.

Nice one though. 8/10
