Almap have the Havaianas Account for more than 10 years.
Almap have concepted this art-layout for Havaianas since ever.
So, BBDO NY work for Havaianas is just an "adaptation" of AlmapBBDO's work.

Does the picture want to tell me anything? It's beautiful as I see, but personally, I don't want to wear wooden planks on my feet. (I neither want to wear flip-flops, anyway. So maybe I'm not the target audience.)

I'm not liking this at all, it looks great, but as a concept, it really does't work for me.

I think the copy is unneccesary.

Havaianas is a visual product and the art are awesome, but looks like the art complete the copy, and this ad is about the contrary.
