Good idea, but poor art direction.

great idea - remember target audience: parents for toddlers-first grader, aim: encourage buying Play-Doh.
I do agree with morse that the art is too childish, and not as professional as could be.
5* it is.

Why a chair?????
Reminds me of lego ads, which are way better... http://adsoftheworld.com/media/print/lego_seventies
@ kleenex. if not chair then what?
I think its a great idea executed pretty well. agree could have been executed better but i still like it.
ideas....30 minutes nahi toh free.
Like this pretty well. The red shape at the bottom does nothing good for it overall.
(As far as "Why a chair?" -- I think a wad of Play Doh looks much closer to the shape of that iconic chair than to the shape of a skyscraper or helicopter or book. It allows an unforced progression, in other words.)

Great idea; works on parents.

I know some of us are reminded of the Lego print ads. But, I think this idea is also the universal truth of the brand (Play-doh), and it works for me.
i too want to play with play doh
Lose the body copy.
Cut the headline.
All yellow background.
Empty Play Doh container bottom right.

Not sure I understand why a chair was chosen for this. I like the concept but maybe a different object. One that better denotes intelligence? Maybe I'm missing something.
