kewl absolutely. and that's the problem that's addling us - a group of wordsmiths and ideators (mind you, ideators) in india.
we are very much aware of the fact that the world of 'vertising is growing every day and developing the a language that crosses barriers - physically. mentally. a few of us who are aware of current-culture of the world - jerry springer, vh1, sarah palin dolls to "I HAD A DREAM" ad after barrack's win - along with the responding counter-cultures do not find ads like the one above as queer and "whatthef#@k???"-ish. i am a keen fan of "wallace and gromit". and not because it'll help me "get" this ad... because i like their take on the present societal conditions which transcends boundaries.
but this is not being seen as a positive movement by puritans who should ideally be kicking buckets. but hey guys (the ones who made this HN cmpgn) THIS IS GREAT STUFF!
I think india and china are fucking amazing opportunities. people who don't know great creative just yet, who haven't seen ads and already realized they could be cool and funny and work? they aren't jaded yet. you could get an amazing response there. it just takes a lot of work.
