Harvey Nichols / Autumn winter ‘09 collection: Dolls, Man
To promote the Autumn/Winter 2009 collection at Harvey Nichols. The campaign is inspired by the season’s trends which are iconic, edgy and really expresses character. We wanted the work to reflect that. We created life-sized Voodoo dolls and clothed them in show-stoppers from the season. Rewarding the Harvey Nichols’ shoppers with the thought that they will be envied to a ridiculous extent.

i don't envy the team. they must have been seriously up against the wall with a looming deadline.
I think it's an ok campaign.
I'm also pretty certain the had plenty of time.

What is they trying to tell us? Is there a dark and secret message?
don't. don't you want me.
first thought: wear these clothes and you will be that annoying asshole people put spells on.
the ad is well-executed, though.
The dirty darkness really takes ways from the ascetics of the cloths. The concept works but the execution is lazy I think.
An amazing shot of the clothing and a really fashion doll, all wrapped up in a situation similar to "HN's Fashion Statement". And then you have something.
Think it for a while.
Then, in anytime, it will come to your mind as an idea.
I like it. It´s about to feel envy from a person that wear Harvey nichols
Stuff like this are what make me proud of being an employee that works for Y&R!
:D
outsmart me, if you can
