Do copywriters and art directors work TOGETHER nowadays? Seems like the copy was made first and then....? Colours yeah but..

i agree, copy seems to be there in seperate... but i think it came after :) the idea was put forward, the design and direction came second, the copy came last... and the poor guy had to come up with something... but come to think of it, the design of the three ads is colorful in ways that sort of "books" the look for the Guardian, in other words they can splash few colors on a big billboard and they dont even have to say a word next time, it is there trademark now, so copy doesnt seem to be important at all

I'm with Bozza & Ivan on this one.
The 'fact/opinion' ads a bit dodgy, but this is clicking.

See. It's more a design print than just regular photo idea print.
The copy obviously work together. Really nice new works for Guardian since they've won the pitch.

I don't know the brand very well so i won't comment on the art direction, but i love the copy! This is my favorite ad of the campaign because of the copy.
