Yeeeeeaaaaahhhh!
Nice, indeeeeed...
Powerful idea. The design looks good as well, but with a text line like that, you can take it to the max and create a stronger visual.
The only thing I want is a slightly bigger bullet. You can't tell the direction it's headed right off the bat. Other than that, smashing design!
But...debate is not the stronger weapon. Sure, we'd all like it to be, but it's not. That guy could present his strongest argument in a clear, calm manner, and that gun would still blow his head off. And he's got his mouth open like he's about to wrap his lips around it.
back to the drawing board on this one I think.
"And he's got his mouth open like he's about to wrap his lips around it."
Now that I've read your line Pauly, this ad seems a bit suicidal. If you didn't look closely enough, you couldn't tell what direction the bullet was going and it could be viewed as an ad for a suicide prevention hotline.
How much will a good argument last? Even when you blow the guy's head (like Kennedy, Lincoln, Galileo or Christ) the idea still exists. That's what I call power and that my friend, is stronger than any coward bullet.
I couldn't agree more, but the power of debate is stronger figuratively speaking, not literally. So they've got this image of a gun pointed at a guy's head, very literal, as though his head is going to stop the bullet, and that's where this falls apart for me.
Yeah, the line gives room for a more impressive or artistic execution, not that literal.
this is really nice. great art direction
I like it too even though it's hard to tell on the first look that the bullet is directed toward the gun and not the guy...
