It's simple and effective, message is definitely there. I like Greenpeace ads though the message is always the same. But someone has to remind these issues again and again and Greenpeace makes it in a clever way...
What IS the issue, ELMIKEL? Time is running out for what? As a consumer I have no fucking clue what they want me to do. The answer is probaby donation, but where's it going and who's it going to?
I think they just found out a tree can look like a hour glass.

Nice idea and copy, there are more different interpretations if the copy is changed. The copy is precise enough. But art direction can be done better.
