Sorry, but this is not a first idea?

wearmysocks's picture 1032 pencils

Yup, winner. Really like the simplicity of these. Colours maybe a bit boring though?

talkingisfree's picture 579 pencils

great!

moonunit's picture 125 pencils

In which way are these ads more interesting than all the other global warming ads that show cities under water?
That it's just typography? Am I missing something?

Very boring.

Kateter's picture 1816 pencils

why didn't they use blue colour?

Jeff Ng's picture 137 pencils

The concept is good. But the typo and color is too boring and not appropriate. It looks like the adv of brand name product sale.

moonunit's picture 125 pencils

awful spelling mistakes in the copy.

I hate copied ads's picture 12 pencils

Good work!!

am-o's picture 162 pencils

yes bad typ-o. i like the colors though - kind of disturbing.

as I said, well known monuments sinking in the water... only thing is they used the names. "Great"...

monicamexico's picture 832 pencils

Horrible. People aren't really worried about Bankok sinking. Unrealistic.

Yokel's picture 608 pencils

Maybe YOU'RE not worried ...

king's picture 109 pencils

seems your campaign has a lot of legs, uh?
Sorry but it's bad. BAD. Besides it's done. DONE.

And you can also see KING´s ad (he put a link in his comment up there), posted some time ago:

http://adsoftheworld.com/forum/exhibition/your_seeing_be_happening

yep, it´s the same.
It says WORLD, as someone here wanted, HUMAN, etc... with a blue blackground by the way, as everybody wanted these ones to be.

If you want I can keep looking and I'll certainly give you some more.

Mr. Phill's picture 48 pencils

No! It's defenitelly the second idea. The first one is sinking in the ocean!

oshe's picture 731 pencils

Aguanta y mucho. Nice, yeah.

Poor understanding of what global warming does to Earth. Please know the "product" before writing the ads.

Yokel's picture 608 pencils

Heh? One aspect of global warming is rising sea level. I think that's also clear from the ads. Jeez you people are never satisfied.

me myself and irene's picture 1256 pencils

yokel, i think all of us are very satisfied when we see a new, fresh and original concept that wows everyone... not the same thing over and over, done maybe in a slightly different way (or just the same).
if you are going to make an ad for global warming, or viagra, or condoms, or something like that, oh boy you have to be VERY creative, since there are thousands of ads for the same easy stuff.

trans galactic's picture 85 pencils

unforgivable spelling mistakes...........i'm blinded by them.........can't say no more..........

soulviamusic's picture 136 pencils

supers, i got it wen i saw the thumbnails on the homepage............

abs's picture 37 pencils

my trainees could have done better

T-bone's picture 48 pencils

Oh yes - this ad has a SERIOUS spelling error - this ad is bad (nice thought) - but this is a complete failure - if you disagree, you don't know what you're talking about.

sorry but there is no creativity here.

teenie's picture 1910 pencils

I think I"m up to here with these "stop global warming" ads. Everyone's doing the - and they're all pretty much the same. They're all too easy, with no insight - just a clever picture and a few words. I'd love to see something really, really insightful - something that moves me, rather than creatives mutually masterbating over trying to win an award.

me myself and irene's picture 1256 pencils

that´s what i was saying to our good friend Yokel up there...

Rog's picture 6110 pencils

Simplistic. No.

>>>> That's not an ad. THIS is an ad.

jamesrothenburg's picture 262 pencils

Since when is simple a bad idea?

ManchuChanchu's picture 701 pencils

i like these for their simplicity. these wud work even if they weren't full blown ads. they work just as well even if they are small stickers or hoardings

changezi's picture 22 pencils

changezi
very simple, very clever and to the point but i wish the designer had used blue instead of black becuase that'd have made the relevancy more clear and understable. one more point i think the "bangkok" should have sunk more on one side let's say on "K" side because nothing sinks in water that straight. other wise really nice
