I recently bought a ticket for the tgv to cache a plane at Charles De Gaulle, but it got delayed 1.5h, so I would've missed the plane had I not payed off a taxi driver to break the speed limit on the highway.

Must be the reason why the place's completely empty.
Not everyone's paying taxi drivers instead.
