There´s defenitely an idea here, but apart from the seemingly lazy art direction, the execution is not the most interesting. I.M.O

Is there a reason that it is disreputable for the same student art director and student creative director to have done these two campaigns -- the geek squad one and this one?

Then what are they teaching the students at Miami ad if their going around showing same resources, executions and layouts in their ads?

I don't know what they teach in Miami and I don't care. What I see here is two students being slammed for coming up with two simple and smart ideas in successive weeks! I doubt a recruiter would concentrate that much on whether or not these visuals look the same when going through a book which shows the guys can think!
If they would like to show some creativity, they should not appear as narrow-minded and stop playing with letters (which is not really fresh anyway - using words/letters to demonstrate products' benefit is so fcking done).
Agree. The visual is not the most compelling but there's a clever thought behind it. Students have a tendency to overcomplicate things so thumbs up to these two. However, I would favor a students section on this site!
If one subscribes to the idea that an ad should do all it needs to, then stop, this series is a success.
