Good Hope FM: Booom
With help you can stop in time.
Tik is the South African word for methamphetamine. It’s commonly smoked by placing meth crystals in a light bulb from which the metal threading has been removed. A lighter is used to heat the bulb and as the heat spreads through the thin glass, the crystals make a ticking, popping sound. Users named the drug ‘tik’ after this ticking sound. It’s spelled phonetically.

I think they've done this manually. you place each and every letters in place.
I love it. clever and direct.

Advertising pass, pasta remain...
your description of how to smoke it makes me want to give it a go.
Ha,
bad taste, but I felt a similar urge.

i think we should start the first crack house on adsofworld.com. find a sparsely populated, run down part of ivan's site and set up shop.
Will there be crack whores?
.....for a friend.
Doin' it for the points
it wouldn't be a crack haus without some .
but how many does a crack house require? 2? 10?
1 for every ten crackheads should do it.

very nice visual
excellent concept and art direction
There's a message spelled out, but I see no "concept".
Montana Meth Project campaign had an overarching idea. This doesn't.
Nice graphic art direction, but as an ad, it lacks substance.
nice
i don´t get it, can you explain to me please?
no lo entiendo, expliquen por favor
thanks
gracias
Check Ivan's copy under the ad, my friend.
'Tik' is the street name for the drug Methamphetamine.
So, it's a matter of time until it kills you...
Tik! Tik! Tik! Booom!
Hope that helps. ;)
>>>> That's not an ad. THIS is an ad.
Clever, very clever . . . Although the specific point is not clear, everything out side of that works well.
Cul.
>>>> That's not an ad. THIS is an ad.
Very clever.
Yes, clever indeed. I believe it might work for those who smoke it.
tik....tik....tik....tik....lighter please?...tik....tik....tik....
it's a clever idea. how much does it actually speak to those to whom it's aimed at and how much can it really help. Unforutnately i no longer believe in this kind of creative approach when addressing such important issues. A definite award winner otherwise.
Trato de comprender la desde hace unos minutas y aunque es evidente que representa el tiempo que deje a vivir no es evidente con esta DA.
No soy de accuerdo con la mayoritad de las repuestas...
I come from Cape Town, where the ad was produced. It's not pronounced TICK but T-UH-K. And it is a serious problem over here. Its destroying many teens lives. In this context it works beacause if you say the word fast enough, it sounds like a clock ticking.
That is exactly how they got the ad, as it stems from a radio ad with the same idea...tik tik tik Boom!
Goodhope FM is the top teen-choice radio station so its good to see them doing something.
Great piece of work guys.
