Not so sure - doesn't it imply that we guys are totally dumb? I'm almost offended.

Crisp One's picture 2033 pencils

"damn. i'm naked in the bar again."

okay, i guess i like it. he just needs clothes, and she would probably have, but not need, more shoes.

i don't love it right away because it comes off as: thank god you're not a woman. it might be the voice. did one of the creatives just get dumped? maybe a more neutral voice that focuses on simplicity could better bring out this idea. focus on the product and illustrate it with gender, rather than the other way around. just my suggestion.

Its humorous, straight to the point, and you understand it straight away.....

Yep, women are choosy and guise will drink anything when caught naked in the bar :)

i like it

except the man needs some clothes!
and the woman should have the beer as an option too!

might be nice to relate clothing choice to drink choice too.

thats really a nice one

Sexist tripe all the way.

Guest's picture

Brilliant.

A number of posters say the man needs clothes. Can't we assume that both the man and the woman are clothed at the outset? (Note the dress on the woman.) The woman, however, won't automatically go "as is" -- she has to decide what to wear.

One poster calls this "sexist tripe". Perhaps you'd like to debate that point with the women who keep forwarding this to me. They seem to get it.

These are terrible ads that make no sense if you take more than 2 seconds to think about them. Needless to say, they work perfectly for their target market - douchebags who drink crappy beer.

Guest's picture

If they work perfectly for their target market then how can they be terrible ads? If you think about that for more than 2 seconds you will realize you make no sense.

Guest's picture

For the record I did not understand this straight away and after I "understood" it I was more confused. So this is saying that men drink beer naked? Where?

Guest's picture

the flowchart represents the decision process of choosing (or not) what clothing to wear, not the actual process of getting dressed.

Guest's picture

One problem, it only shows one beer. Since there are many different types, shouldn't there be multiple styles of beer for the guy? (And yeah, all that choosing clothes stuff is way overrated) i.e. something like www.beeriodic.com, (no I don't get anything from them.) Cheers

SPOT ON!
Remember... it's an ad for Goldstar Beer. That's it's the only beer shown. The only bad thing is that it implies that women don't drink beer. Of course they do.

wow.hahaha!

I think some guys here are missing the point...its all about the process that the lady took! from the time they decided to grab a drink...her mind went all the way to what top to wear? what trousers to wear? what shoes to rock on? till the time she made it to the drink, she still couldnt choose what to drink....the dude on the other hand jst wanted his goldstar beer all along meeen!!

Interesting! & BTW it is 99.99% hehe! I think anyone whose ever gone out with a woman can testify! dont u think! :-)

it aint nuthin to do with gender...did we all loose our sense of humour?

beer over!
