The only common thing between these two ads is the concept of barefoot. But in a totally different context. I don't see a "but" here.

Slashh's picture 294 pencils

Agreed. There is no "but." Does Nike own the rights on showing feet in an ad? You guys gotta cut this crap out.

esotericusername's picture 313 pencils

oh god you're right, exactly the same. I bet they're really kicking themselves now. CD heads are going to roll on this one. Good call, you're sharp.

k-rocka's picture 430 pencils

Why the rudeness?

bknowlden's picture 3435 pencils

I don't see the Nike spot as interference, these ads are really nice. And the retouching is fantastic...

ellehcimeo's picture 3536 pencils

Beautiful retouching. I seem to remember a levis ad where a bare ass had the little red tab on it. Similar but different I suppose.

One of my favourites :D

A verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!.

popdistortion's picture 1612 pencils

Nice. Nothing to add.

Rog's picture 6110 pencils

Totally obvious, given that brief/line, I would have thought.
Well crafted, agreed.
And why the hands?

jennywhx's picture 1144 pencils

German ad, eh? I remember they used to use human leather back in WWII ...

stereodeluxe's picture 127 pencils

am i the only one to find this post inappropriate?

A. J. SMITH's picture 2850 pencils
ellehcimeo's picture 3536 pencils

Yeah. I don't know why that comment about WWII was necessary. But, I make mistakes some times with my comments, so I will forgive it.

A. J. SMITH's picture 2850 pencils

60 odd years ago

If you look back far enough you can find most countries have some bad stuff on their track record. Leave it be.

Been done for Levi's in the 60s when they showed the naked bum of a girl with levi's pocket drawn on her ass with a marker.

A. J. SMITH's picture 2850 pencils

I like it, its not the same as the levis ad and its not the same as the nike one either, although they are similar.

These photos are just beautiful. I like all of them! And nice retouching indeed. Though the idea might not be fresh but it works for me...
