The copper's expression is a bit too much, aye? The reaction of grandma and the boss are more restrained and subtle.
This is actually funny imo. As for the subtlety of the cop's expression: yes, it's strong, but considering the average viewing time of such an ad it seems neccessary for the comic effect to work.
I agree, his expression is too much.
Creative concept however, but I'm not sure if the "average joe" would get it!

it's hard to tell what the hell they are at first; grabs my attention to query, then doesn't follow through with enough of a twist
