Funny. :-D
the retouching is so bad
criticize is way easier than create. use more brain.
cool
?
nice~
William Bernbach - An idea can turn to dust or magic, depending on the talent that rubs against it.
good one, but as fifthbullet said: awful retouching
I don't get it?
Is it for a telecom brand where you can download streaming videos and pause? If that it is, then it is pretty bad.

It's like Tivo, you can pause live tv. So, the TV was stopped, the bikes stopped, the rides flew further...
If the bikes were stopped...
and the riders kept flying...
given the idea of pausing live TV...
is it safe to say the riders aren't part of the live TV?
Because if they were, they'd be paused, too, no?
Weak idea, IMO.
are you saying that it'd be better to just show a single frame from a bike race???? if so, i'd have to disagree with you..there would be absolutely nothing original or creative about a showing a still frame of a race...this works much better.
www.ashlandic.com
Absolutely not. A single frame with everyone frozen is a crappy, crappy ad.
What I'm saying is the idea is flawed:
You can't have the bikes frozen ON THE TV with the people flying. THE PEOPLE are part of the live TV, too.
It's just wonky, that's all.
i disagree...obviously the people in the shot are part of the tv...but this idea is clever and absolutely works.
remember the old adage here people..."say one thing, show another"

The name of the agency corresponds to this visual :)
Coincidence?
Hovsep
Hovesep, you Armenian?
Funny. Can already see the TV commercial.

great! wud it be understood better/faster if they were flying mid air?
agreed, but if they did that, the retouching would prolly be worse. nice idea though.
i dunno...i think its fairly obvious as is. this is one of those ads that is much better suited for tv tho. great idea

agreed ashlands, this campaign would carry over well into televsion, however i think keeping the print ads running concurrently would work even better than just switching it to television. Over all i like. I would love to keep typing but John Huebert III wants me to pass some food through the bars on his cage.
desi - why cant we see any work on your site?
Dude, u need to register.

Nice idea, would like to see how it campaigns
Fail Harder.
I think it's a cool idea. Mybe the picture or retouching could be better, but the idea is cool.
haha humorous.
haha.
three drunk monkeys do funny and great ideas.
quit smokin and you won't fall off your bike. would have been cool if there is a hand w/ a remote on the lower right and and pressing the button. Then the bikes are doing an endo or the riders up in the air.? maybe?

I like it. I'm working on a similar brand and I wish I'd thought of it. Bravo guys.
I have seen an exactly same ad about the same feature. I am not as resourceful as ivan
to upload that particular creative. Wait, I think I am talking about the same ad.
Should be more of this sort of thing when Tivo comes to Australia in '08.
It'll be interesting to see if they will want to advertise the fact that you can also skip through the ads, as well as pausing live tv. Seems like tv advertising as we know it is going to change a lot in the next few years, and that's a good thing I reckon. Interesting times ahead.
