Thx for the link. The idea is exactly the same, the execution slightly different. VW is better, they show the whole car, which is crucial. If you're into automotive business, you know what I mean...

What I like the most is the photojournalistic style of a photo here - good call.
AD - "Well, we did some research, this Polo one is kinda funny."
CD - "Hmm. Let's just use part of the car - say the door - shoot it a little different, no one will notice."
CW - "Sushi?"

For one, this isn't a reportage style of photography. It's totally stylised, which I don't have problem with. I also don't have a problem with people using the same ideas, but only if you can do them a million times better. In the future, perhaps steer clear of trying to improve on Cannes Grand Prix winners...
There is similarity ...but I think this one is just made in a nicer way. I like the almost journalistic look of photography. Looks far more convincing than the almost stage like appearance of VW.
