Nice long copy ads - my only criticism — They type. It's low contrast and long line lengths make it hard to read for their 40-50+ target. And don't tell me it's for a young audience - we all know 20 somethings don't think about retirement.
I don't necessarily believe these are for the 40+ crowd. With a tag of Invest Young. Live to enjoy it, it's apparent that these are in fact supposed to try to intrique the younger folk to at least think about saving money instead of blowing it on beer pong.
well Mikelite, you have to keep in mind that they probably had a target in mind other than a CD. If everyone did that, ads student show would be transparent and have no real voice. So, I disagree. I think they have a target and saying that they are only meant to sell CDs is short sighted.

first of all, they're in school, so their target audience is creative directors.
and they're not Long Copy, they're just copy.
that being said, the layouts can be pushed. I feel like there's too much unused space. i'm all for white space, but in this execution, it feels empty.
