i've never seen one of these before either, but i still don't think the execution is all that hot...
it's kinda just banging you over the head with the whole 'look at the small popcorn and soda' thing...
it'd be tighter, i think, to make it look more natural - like having the guy buying the little soda and popcorn at the concession or all hunched over, making his body look unweildily big, in one of the theater seats or something...

then again, those have probably been done, too, so whatever...

Yeah, I kind of agree with all comments. I like it and I don't like it!

It is probably the first thought that comes into your head when you consider the brief, but can we be sure that they weren't limited by budget or time constraints? These things all have an impact on our daily lives, so perhaps while it's not the perfect ad in the whole world, it still gets its point across, which is really all we try to do on a daily basis.

As for being done before, can someone show me a recent advert that is completely original, never been done before-type stuff?
