hahaha, nice copy & insight. But it's not true that most good works come out of pain and misery.
You're probably right. You don't have to have grown up in a dysfunctional family environment to be a great writer.
But this is still a good joke (or truth) people tell others about creativity.

High controversy on this one - must have hit a nerve. As a writer, I laugh, because I've actually said that to my father. But I can imagine that few others have. Not sure what to think about this ad. It's very easy to absorb, though.

Perhaps he/she is a writer in a different language to English? try converting text in a different language (spanish for example) text English, it often looks stilted.

This copy does not suggest that only those who went thru a struggle or some from of dysfunction are bound to be great writers...It is about the human insight that people...na na na wait READERS want to read about peoples struggle/pain/misery and hardship...The copy is DOPE - very insightful
