supersupergirl's picture 296 pencils

but are'nt they showing human babies??????

rocketman's picture 391 pencils

yes, and even when the words ¨young animals¨may sound shocking, that's exactly what human babies are.
however, the word used in spanish is "crias" which can perfectly apply for human or animal babies.

Davosk's picture 4439 pencils

This is stupid, we don't kill human babies for leather, this makes no sense. Why not show dead young animals. 120 young animal hides for one leather coat? I don't believe that at all.

Se supone que la publicidad no sea lineal, en la mayoria de los casos esta hecha para obligarte a usar la imaginacion.

Salet's picture 265 pencils

I don't know that the guy above my said, but hopefully it something like "Are you F-ing kidding? Get a clue."

muxa's picture 602 pencils

Hey Davosk, get out of middle age.

Excelent work, and "crias" perfectly fits in the message.

Well done!

GROTESQUE!too strong a visual .

muxa's picture 602 pencils

Hey indian, maybe the visual could be better and shock you more using cows instead of babies?

Rog's picture 6110 pencils

Hey muxa, noticing a trend here?

nitin456's picture 129 pencils

Nthngmn's picture 632 pencils

nice shot/execution even though I can't read the label at a blown up size.

Other than that, the concept is absolute tripe.

No esta bien realizado

ricards's picture 6 pencils

me gusta todo..

M_ad_man's picture 28 pencils

Human babies to personify the animal origins of the leather and enhance the shock value. That's a bit lost in translation if "crias" does have the double meaning going on. Works for me...

shall we twist... or shout?

sold's picture 2341 pencils

if the model was a real animal... errr, a lamb, could be better...

rocketman's picture 391 pencils

i think this is exactly the kind of reaction these creatives were aiming for, and they got it.
we're too used to seeing dead animals on a fur coat, it's commonplace, but when we see dead humans we feel all the violence behind it and get uncomfortable.

Done with hands a couple of years ago and the retouch needs to be improved.

An imitation of Phillip Toledano's work?

Human babies are not the same as baby animals. Humans have a soul. There should be no comparison here. I think it's tasteless shock value.
