This is a well done campaign. I like that it is clever, speaks to the target audience and shows a benefit. Good job.

Well, it's not really true. I mean, in a newspaper, the entire month won't be about the para olympics. One day might be, and if you don't get the paper that day you will have missed the story completely. So shouldn't it really be about the stories you might have missed?

Sure, but if you missed a day of that will you be "in the dark". No, it's 2009. There's the Internet, cable, news networks - a variety of ways you'll receive the news. Not subscribing to a paper worked in 1980. Newspapers, unfortunately, are not timeless.

Even though I love the art direction and the feel of this, I don't think the calendar gets across fast enough.
the games are on very specific dates and somehow i think that it would add a lot more to readability of the ad.
I know it probably would ruin the simplicity of the image, but would contribute a lot to the effectiveness of the piece.
