good thinking but I dont like the art direction or the copy.

First I think it should say In 2030 you’ll be here. The way they have it just sounds awkward. How can I be somewhere now but in the future?

Second the maps are just too confusing. I cant even recognize the places which should appear very recognizable. The land left over looks like lego blocks. Very inorganic or something. Also too much detail in the maps -- simplify the maps and make them more organic looking.

politically I think global warming is over-rated. The earth has been here for 4 billion -- BILLION! -- years. To think humans can come along and change things so drastically so soon seems really self important. Besides dont experts disagree on the magnitude of global warming, which by the way sounds like a good thing. Who doesnt want to be warm. warm is good.

warm is good? you live in Siberia or what?

Some of these threats may be exaggerated and I know a lot of people are fed up with this issue but the truth is that people have done a lot of bad things to mother Earth and it might really get worse. If we don't change our attitude, we will destroy ourselves. Sooner or later. E.g., if we were able to destroy a third of the huge Amazon forest, why we couldn't do a lot more???

It's always better to exaggerate than to cry over spilled milk when it's already late.

Anyway, this is just a client that needs more attention and donors. And it gets to the point...

i hate to say this, but the earth gets destroyed sooner or later. Its a matter of time.

But back to the ads, I think locals would figure out once they see the ads. The question is would they bother to read it in the first place? This, has something to do with placement. I imagine myself few metres from it and I just didn't make me want to read it.

I have to correct you and indeed anyone who says 'the earth will be destroyed', the earth will be fine, humans, and most other organisms will be destroyed, but the earth will rejunivinate over a few million years (a heartbeat in terms of the earths history)

Our world will be destroyed, but the earth will be fine.

Don't take it that literally. Earth = life on Earth

Well yes I know that, and its natural in the way we speak so there's no fault with using earth and reffering to life, but people often think that the earth (planet) will be destroyed by us. Which it won't. Thats all I was saying.
