Yes. Yes, it should be "leapt", and you'd think an English copywriter working for a British company would know that - as would, ostensibly, everyone else at the agency, the client's company, and so on.

And while we're at it, what's with the tortured spacing on the second line? A little too much slavish attachment to full justification, methinks.
