I think this Dove campain was great. Very different and new for that kind of product. I'm so tired of seing beautifull face and product shot in those ads.

I can't get over the fact that the Real Beauty campaign is for beauty products. On one hand, you tell women that they're beautiful no matter how they look, but then you try to sell them cellulite cream. It seems to be somewhat contradictory.

Maybe they mean to say that after using the cellulite cream, you will not change physically at all, but you're really beautiful cos you used it. Something like that.
for me the message is that you are beautiful no matter what, and because you are beautiful, its important to take care of yourself... those products aren't going to make you better or adhere to someone else's ideal of beauty, they are going to highlight your own skindeep beauty, not create an artificial one
yeah, when you think about it that way, it's contradictory.
i think this entire campaign is saying, well, there's more than one way to look at beautiful - there's your inner beauty, so dont forget to celebrate that. then in small type, they say, but hey, here's a product that can help make you beautiful on the outside, too - not that that should matter too much
and then in even smaller type, actually it matters to us, we want you to buy as many products as possible so we can profit from it, but we cant say all this can we - it's supposed to be about YOU.

I BELIEVE THAT DOVE HAS AN GOOD ASPECT OF WHAT THEY ARE TRYING TO CONVEY BEAUTY IN NOT HOW MUCH ARTIFICIAL MAKE-UP OR ETC. ITS ABOUT BEING NATURAL AND JUST BECAUSE YOUR BEAUTY ISN'T SOMEONE ELSE'S BEAUTY DOESN'T MEAN THAT YOU ARE NOT BEAUTIFUL......
