You pray he has a good day at work.
Or else you will have to hear your mother
getting punched again tonight.
And you pray she doesn’t talk too long
to the neighbours or bring dinner out too cold.
Or do anything else to annoy him tonight.
Because you really don’t want to hear the screams.
They make you wet the bed at night.
So you pray.
You pray that today, by some miracle,
he won’t come back at all.

A Wife beating Father who controls the household with violents would never iron his own shirt.
Someone that ignorant would think that would be "woman's" work.

These ads make a great point however are too wordy.

I like the ads although I'm not quite sure if this ad reaches a big group. I can't think of a lot of kids who'd want to read such looong copy. Not to mention the copy is boringly mediocre. The idea is good, but the copywriter got carried away.

All men are monsters. And domestic violence is only perpetrated by men. Apparently the feminazis have brainwashed Singapore too.

JB, I agree that this ad wouldn't be very appealing to kids and would probably be over-looked. But could it be geared towards a different target, not just kids? The copy tries to play on emotion, so maybe it's aimed at a slightly older audience. What do you think?

Either way, if it is indeed for an older audience, I think the copy still isn't on-target no matter what.

And I agree with the first post - that monster wouldn't be ironing his own shirt in such a scenario.
