why would there be a sign that says "involved in africa"?

Why on earth would you question that, it's pretty relevant being there isn't it?

For the sake of the ad, yes. But if I came upon this image in a newspaper (without the man standing there) I would also find it odd that the UN would put up a sign with that message.

but in REAL LIFE, not for the ad, why would it be there? why would you walk down the street and see a sign like that? thus, i like the ad LESS, because the sign isn't something he might actually be standing in front of.

why a newspaper would take this kind of editorial position?!

Yea, even i was thinking of the same thing. They lose half their viewership with this very ad. Bad conduct. Newspaper-Epitome of Justice and Free from prejudices.

It comes just like that!

Given that the newspaper is an African newspaper its better qualified than most of this forum to make such a statement

that's the ad that they wanted to show. great dudes.

True or not, running such an agenda driven ad shows extremely poor judgement for a "news" paper. It is little wonder that newspapers are going out of business.

nice n fresh

cool ads. the message is clear and defines exactly what these papers are about. I really don't get the pointless comments above about the sign...

agree!

very sahrp and simple.

one of the best ads i´ve seen in a while.

(sad enuff.)
