quite difficult to understand if you don't know country boundaries. lots of people know flags and names of countries but not all know boundaries.

Is this only aimed at the Italian market? Or are there other non-African countries in the pic? I only recognise Italy.
To me this feels like it's trying to be clever. And maybe that's really good if it really is clever, but I don't think this is clever enough to be good.
Also, it doesn't really tell me anything specific about the DHL service -- and I'd guess there are sell-points in some of the specifics.

I think this is pretty simple and clear. I don't understand the confusion. People in Poland would know what Italy looks like, and what the continent of Africa looks like, and that Italy is not in Africa. There is nothing else you need to know to understand this ad.

The idea is not clear at all. The visual says 'Italy in Africa' - so what is that supposed to mean when the product is DHL Express?

Also, one has to search too hard to see the Italy shape. The ad is trying to be too clever and ends up confusing the viewer.
The idea is smart and clear. Some of the comments above are retarded and unclear though.
I like it, nicely executed, too. An ad that requires you to know a thing or two about the world is usually a risky move ;).
