3-phase creative:
Word “Homeless” is composed of 143 individual portraits of actual Denver homeless, shot over a four week period.
Two weeks later, half the faces in “less” are gone.
Two weeks after that, only the faces in “Home” are left.
Agency went to shelters to shoot dignified portraits of 143 homeless men, women and children, then composed them into the word “Homeless.” Over the coming weeks, some of the homeless portraits will be removed, and a “Home” will come into view. Just like what the Denver Rescue Mission hopes to accomplish for its clients.

fine idea, but NOT for billboard...
Definitely! Who's gonna notice all those little pictures?
You don't even see them in the thumbnail.
yeah theres something very suspicious about this, as if you can see the faces on a billboard... and who takes the faces off? are they post-its? wheatpaste?
i think the faces or the portraits they have used in word "less"
paste not properly.and they know that the highway is the palce where wind blow in speed(i dont know abt denver but in india wind speed at highway is very high).so they got there result in a week
gud work

yes, good comment.
highways are are always much windier than surrounding areas.
hmm.
nice... could've worked great as ambient like the aids condom thingy..
this technique is not new but still is fine.
So half of them disappeared and because of that the other half managed to get a home? Making it out of pictures confuses the idea.
I don't think this could work as a billboard. How are drivers going to notice that the letters are made of pictures...? Maybe this could work as an ambient in the street...
was good when absolut did it for absolut LA with headshots as models.
