Cool.
A bit low-res pic, you've uploaded, but I get the idea and I like it.
Powerful message, good play with type.
Not too fresh maybe, but good overall.

I do not get it. It might be good if it was public interest, but instead this is agency self-promo. It lowers the value of this campaign.

So if the people recycled they wouldn't have gotten hit by a typhoon?

Does anybody get this? If so, can you explain? Thanks.

I don't buy it from an Ad Agency. Sorry Dentsu.

Think it for a while.
Then, in anytime, it will come to your mind as an idea.

Y are natural disasters called natural if its caused by humans?!! I tink its tasteless if this is a recent ad, tapping on the recent storm & flood tat swept thro Manila. People died & are still dying from this disaster. An agency-promo ad? Especially one done by the Philippines... They should know better about the situation there.

Poor image within a good concept,
Tag line should be reduce, recycle, reuse is that not the natural/ planed order it would go in? I think it would also give the typography a better flow.

I think they are trying to say, "If we do not start recycling and reducing the amount of waste and garbage we have then the world is going to suffer for it." Global warming is effecting the world in a drastic way.

Are you trying to get people upset? They didn't cause Ondoy! Horrifying ad! There are other ways to get the message of "reuse, reduce, recycle or regret" across. This is in bad taste...capitalizing on natural disaster..

Sorry if I sound harsh, but this is an example of "a little knowledge can be dangerous".

Even if we all "reduce, reuse, and recycle", we'd still have this sort of problem.
And if (ahem) the proper research was done, you'd know that the world is in a situation where places like the Maldives would STILL go underwater in less than 10 years even if every single country went carbon-neutral right this very second.

Ergo, no amount of environmental redress NOW will stop things like this from happening.
Sorry, guys, but your message is sparse, unclear as to the real objective (other than awards or promotion to ACD) is at least 50 years too late, and hardly compelling.

Respectfully suggest you try harder and have a meeting with reps from the World Wildlife Fund or U.N. before you try to come off as environmentally conscious.

Poor image..bad image...low res image..why all the hue and cry? The pic is bad, low res. ugly simply becoz it demonstrates a bad scenario, its actually leaving negative vibes when one have a look at it. And that's what exactly is to be communicated, this would be the scenario on earth if the resources aren't put to good and efficient use.The picture can't be expected to be delighting here.
and sorry to say Mr ferrulebite, but if Maldives is going in ditches, does that imply that we stop caring at all?? We are supposed to perform our best as far as using the resources is concerned.
