Nice and simple.
Simple ideas are the best !

Cute. It's not entirely logical, of course, but you get what this is supposed to be and get the point right away, which is everything in this kind of ad.
"Ubi hubave lubearned thubat ubanuby fubool cuban wrubite uba bubad ubad, bubut thubat ubit tubakes uba rubeal gubenubiubus tubo kubeep hubis hubands uboff uba gubood ubone."
-Lubeo Buburnubett
Yeah very true. Would be better if they could make a whole series of this though.

Jack & Bill I usually agree with the both of you but now I don't. It has a connotation with smelly feet and I hate smelly feet in my morning bread!
Ha ha. I hear you, Lee. That's the "not entirely logical" part that I brushed aside.
I see that slippers=home, but I think bread=shoes is a surreal leap. If you feel generous, you call it whimsy; if not you call it weird. I understand your point.
"Ubi hubave lubearned thubat ubanuby fubool cuban wrubite uba bubad ubad, bubut thubat ubit tubakes uba rubeal gubenubiubus tubo kubeep hubis hubands uboff uba gubood ubone."

Yeah that's true. Perhaps they could make better 'not sweaty' shapes out of it.

Great idea !
It's cute indeed. As for logical, slippers = home .
just simple. everyone can understand by the visual.
I love creative advertising!!
Copy & Paste from Fluvio Bonavia's book...
Really? No. www.fulviobonavia.com (A matter of taste)
You are an idiot, Guest.

love it.
superb nice
it is a filthy copy paste indeed: http://mothereleganza.com/Bread_Shoes
It is not a rip off. its true that the execution is based on slipper shaped bread but that bread was not an idea or an advertisement before.
bite me
True. For sure, these are not the first ever bread shoes. But the Ad works perfectly Fine for me. Good job!
sorry, not so fresh as you might think. just google bread slippers and click on images:
http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&expIds=25657,26781,26805,26885&suge...
there's tons of pics like this...
unbelievable! :)
Everybody is creative, be yourself.
Just check how many human figures, gestures are available around you in so many forms and if you have seen ads / art using them do you call them ‘rip-offs’.
bite me
only problem is that this is not a human figure or gesture... it's a very unique clever connection between two very unrelated things (bread and slippers), a connection that was MADE BY SOMEONE ELSE. all these people did was apply someone else's idea to a brand. quite pathetic if you ask me!
Ok in this case it’s an object obviously. People who made that bread didn’t make the connection. They just made bread. And if you ask me more or less what we do in advertising is the application of someone else’s thing (‘idea’) to a brand or making a connection with someone else’s thing (‘idea’). A piece of work is not art until presented in a novel manner.
bite me
if you google 'bread slippers' all slippers made from real bread are from the same Lithuanian artists. http://www.dezeen.com/2009/11/05/bread-shoes-by-re-praspaliauskas/ . it is a super unique idea and this Add is a rip off. Very sad when add agencies earns millions using young artists ideas instead of inviting them or giving them chance. Money rules. Or at least buy their bread shoes that they sell for some 20 euros and use it for add. http://mothereleganza.com/Bread_Shoes
Adds are not about stealing somebodies art, stating that is not art and saying that you are making 'connection' by using this idea for selling.
Art is about making unexpected connections between things , images and assosiations. You can also fake Damien Hirst 'shark' and put it to fish shop add. You think you wont get a court case?
Right, tons of rip offs of rip offs of rip offs - if you wanna call it that way. I really like this Ad and by the way, thanks for the link. I have to order a pair of those real sesame bread slippers!
nice idia
Yes.

Where the idea 'comes' from? here?

bread roquefort scented
very simple. very good.
The idea is not fresh at all!!!

this is really great. smart idea and appealing visual.

Bro, 9gag much?

I hate it when people steal ideas from things they see on the internet and then use it for their ad.
Agree!
for sure!
Thnx Huub! I couldn't find the artist, but this is a direct copy. People stealing ideas like this are in insult for the business...
too many comments. i do not think i will add any more to it.
they showed me a picture & i laughed
dignity has never been photographed
great idea.!!
Not fresh, shame on agency :(

didnt get it. shoes. ready to bake? bread?
am an advertising junkie | read my flog at http://www.desicreative.com/forum
simple, appealing and yummy.
guys get real it's not a rip-off or copied, it (may have) got inspired from one of those dada and mother visuals, so what. u guys have also seen those why didn't you did something. accusing is very easy but creation is not everyone's job.
get real and keep your mouth shut. 'coz its always better to keep mum and let the others think u r a fool than opening your mouth and removing all doubts.
ahh, you should've followed your own advice there.
Love it :)
Very clever.
yummi
it belongs to Giger.
a hundred points!
done
love it :)
Well, let's say they were clever enough not to put too much thinking in it.
It's good but it's nothing more than a 90's brazilian ad.
Good, but not new.
OMG! They really faked it! I am Lithuanian and artists R&E Praspaliauskas from Lithuania did these shoes at least five years ago, in a different sizes and different breads, it traveled all over blogs around. A SHAME! http://www.dezeen.com/2009/11/05/bread-shoes-by-re-praspaliauskas
OMG? Stop complaining! Don't get me wrong, I like the work of the Praspaliauskas twins. The weapon cookies are just great. But HR Giger already had bread shoes in his "Schuhwerke" exhibition in 1975. A SHAME?
different to use ideas in adds and present them as yours and get lot of money for that.
done already
soooo cute!
:S

www.iamabean.com
wow! as bad as it gets. this won an award?
I wonder cant most of u realize the idea isn't shoes made of bread but the concept ready to be made at home and this is why they use the bathroom slipper kinda look. OMG! I wonder how are you guys yet surviving in the ad industry.
