the photography is quite nice but the sold sign forces the piece, and on the one with the "graduation present" the retouching of the car is awful.

In an advertising agency you go to a photo retouch studio for them to prepare for you.
Your obviusly not in advertising. ... STFU.

I do dream of that glorious day when i can work at a ginormous agency that lets me walk around the office dressed up like Chris Angel cuz it makes me feel like a creative douche, and have big budgets with room for shooting t-shirt guns full of cash at things like cocaine and Crystal Pepsi, but until then my C.D. expects me to do my own post for my comps, and setup for print.

If I were you I'd go learn some retouching, I'd hate to hear that your wardrobe of scarfs and anklets has been compromised because your "obvious agency" laid you off.

In an advertising agency you will most likely go to a photo retouch studio, 3D studio, etc, whatever your budget allows u to do...
One of these studios will also most likely prepare something nice for you and your client. Kinda... ;)
This ad is not on the "nice"-scale, but presentable for a client.
Very, very, very good for presenting the idea.

But from a creative POW,
this looks very strange, and feels very like a stock-photo-collage. Hard to point one thing out ;)
The idea: So, so... We all know that some "chicks" like cool cars.

But Yes, bad retouch/p'shopping.
And it seems like it's been done by the creative team.
And ... You're obviusly not in advertising. ... STFU.

Cus the idea is very present. But has some confusing afterthoughts.
"Why the small sign? Background? This? That?" ...
The idea: So, so... We all know that some "chicks" like cool cars.

But Yes, bad retouch/p'shopping.
And ... You're obviusly not in advertising. ... SO, STxU yourself.
Not nice.
Next time, criticize the idea, then the execution.
And don't b so defensive ;)))
Thx :)

There's a thin line between "interesting and challenging" and "obscure". This ad crosses it. And not in the right direction...
