I'm sorry but I don't like the illustrations at all... If they were scetches for the presentation to the client, okay, and then make real photographs of it. Not this naïve art. But hey, seems I'm the only one here, looking at the other comments...

HOLY CRAP. I love this. I know it's graphic, but I love the direction. Great perspective, too. The tagline, eh, not as much. But overall.. GREAT ad. How do you NOT look at this ad and start piecing together a story?

Great illustration.

Nice idea.

But would've been more impactful if they are shots of real people.

The other people in the visual are part of the hero's imagination as he reads the book. So using illustration makes it twice as unreal.
