Hmmm... This must be a cultural thing. Or I'm just stupid. Because I don't get it...

Dads army was and is a famous comedy show about aging home guards in Britain during world war 2, the exhibition therefore is celebrating this show, nice campaign but obviously wouldn't work for those not familiar with the show

you really don't need to know the show.... the line says "Dad's army" the visuals are just reiterations of that
