"Why go on living when we can bury you for $49.50?" (Once Upon A Time In America)

what?

I supposed the guy can't take his eyes off the TV, and thus accidentally put toothpaste on a razor rather than a toothbrush?

Doesn't work at all for me, sorry.

The guys is sleepy, as watching TV overnight.

This ad is very confusing. If they are going for the idea that "you are so mesmerized by the TV that you can't look away," the line should reflect that. Also, if this guy's about to brush his teeth, it's going to get pretty ugly.

yeah, the unsettling imagery leaves a bad taste.

i think what they're comparing the excitement of shaving with toothpaste(which would tingle) to the "ulitimate" excitement of the network.

ouch.

WTF? Sharpen my teeth? or My afetershave isnt fresh enough?

Es un camino ya muy recorrido, además creo que la ejecución es muy exagerada

This would be great for 13eme Rue.
"If we did personal hygiene adverts, we'd do them like this."

I understood it when ricklongo explained it, but if the guy shaving his teeth wasn't paying attention to the task in favor of the television, why is the shot so zoomed in, shouldn't it be more subtle and less obvious?
