I was going to say "No"... But, since there is wide debate on who exactly discovered the Americas, I'd say you are correct. Was it Columbus? Was it Amerigo? Was it a group from China? But then how would the ad relate to leaving a legacy behind?

No. Its fine the way it is. In 1451 this is what the world looked like, in 1506 it looked like this.

Simple. quick. just leave it the way it is. it works
