I want to understand
My guess is that it's an anti-drinking campaign. But that's only a guess. And not even an educated one.
You know, the more I try to understand these ads, the more I'm convinced they are actually for Colt 45 Malt Liquor (too many references to drinking to deny it). Which is really f**ked-up! As someone suggested earlier, If THIS is what they're teaching you at that school: to insult consumers—demand your money back!

"I have a screen name because not having one is for pussies."
Here's to you, Mr. I-have-a-screen-name.
So do I, but logging in is a pain in the ass!
if this is about the "cult 45" clothes collection....it's pretty far-fetched in my oppinion
What are you actually want carry out by this kind of horrible ad. I can’t appreciate that
Your messages are terrible and a brewery would never ever run this ad. Looks nice though.
Spot on for the brand. I'm guessing account people don't drink 40's. Which explains the other comments.
Everyone calm down. It's school work. Now that that's out of the way, Cult 45's branding in the U.S. targets the urban market. Their current campaign uses a series of painted hip-hop inspired murals so I understand where you're coming from but could these be sold to the client? In reality, I doubt it but again it's spec. The art direction is nice. I don't think any beer company has really taken ownership of the brown bag.

This is nothing like Colt 45's brown bag marketing campaign. There is a fine line between making your product a part of the culture and insulting a culture. Actually, perhaps not so fine a line. But you all will learn more as you become more experienced in this industry we are in.
Do some of the people damage property who drink this? Yes. Is this something you wrap a campaign around? No.
You find something within their culture that is positive for the brand to associate themselves with. Like graffiti. It is an art.
This campaign shows lack of thinking deeply. Keep plugging away though!
If it's student work, your teacher should have told you to keep pushing before even bothering posting this.
if your signature for posting comments is "i have a screen name because not having one is for pussies," you may want to consider your creative credibility and perhaps even your purpose in life before cruising student boards desecrating someone's hard work.
I think the brown bag thing rocks. If you think about it, Colt 45 drinkers have their own cult and have cult like behavior. Sounds like the raw truth in a nice looking way.
