I don´t know... in the movie, the girl looks pretty much smaller. She fits in just one palm of King kong.
It looks kind of infantile and a bit confusing to me. You don't need the actual King Kong title to get your point across. The lady's role and intentions aren't clear, the gorilla looks... just bad (so much details in the head and so little in the fingers...) It has that oh-look-we-humans-are-so-bad propaganda feeling to it. Too much writing for its own sake... I really don't like it, guys. Sorry.
