I personally haven't seen any other ad referring to Joe the Plumber
He wasnt in advertising so much as he was everywhere else. The media was having a field day with this: Jay Leno, for example, found it difficult to get through a single night without making at least one JTP joke. It was a tired piece of schtick, and to run this on Election Day wold put this looooong past its sell-through date.

Yo Seany-boy! This ad ran in Holland where people weren't flooded by JTP jokes. And it was a modest ad, not an expensive full-page one. Therefor I like it.

there is no indication that this is the right van. all this ad says is "loser chooses citroen."

you know when u make a joke a someone repeats it right after you said it. this is what happens here. the ad is a joke. no offense but literally is a joke about joe the plumber.
