What would've made this idea easier to understand? Make the image slightly pink or yellow or green to suggest that this person has floated away and we are seeing through the bubble.

What if the effect was different, like a blur on the edges... something to suggest that this is been viewed by a human being, not a camera lense.

Having big bubble won't makes you fly upwards like hot air balloon...unless you're breathing hot air or hydrogen gas.
