I like this, even though it feels a bit deja vu. But I agree with SL2D on the mothers expression, she doesn't seem very happy to have adopted a child.
There's another campaign by Ogilvy, Mumbai and it's way better.

Nice - simple and powerful. Lovely idea.
Just because both the ads show the shadow as pregnant woman doesn't mean it is the same idea.
The mother's day idea is a bit forced, however this one is more meaningful.

Totally disagree with all of the above. This ad won't motivate one single woman to consider adopting. You're thinking about your book, not your audience.
Nice idea. Bad art direction. Bad execution. It doesn't inspire me to adopt or anything.
