The ZEISS group puts a lot of pride in its heritage. This summer the Scandinavian division was just about to launch a campaign referring to the first landing on the moon, when Neil Armstrong suddenly passed away. The least thing to do was to expand the campaign, with a a final tribute to the man still to be found on posters at ZEISS receptions worldwide.
In memory of a pioneer. The moon is not a place for everyone. It is for those who never settle for less. For those who know the value of ”never give in”. For those who push the boundaries – just a little further, just a little more. Neil knew this. And we know it. This is the first man on the moon, captured with optics from Carl Zeiss. So, from one pioneer to another: Thank you, Neil. Reach for the sky, land on the moon.
